Our client, a biotech company, are currently seeking packer to join their small team based out of Clayton. This role involves handling of warehouse duties related to the distribution of medical devices. This role is currently offering day shifts from 9AM – 4.30PM, and requires you to be available across Monday to Friday.

Duties and responsibilities involved:

  • Perform all required warehouse/logistics tasks for the distribution and storage of Medical Devices. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Maintain the warehouse in a well organised and safe state to ensure that all products are stored according to guidelines and standards.
    • Prepare daily orders for dispatch following packing instructions along with corresponding documents as required.
    • Inspect incoming goods according to defined procedures; pack, unpack, load, receive and store stock.
    • Warehouse housekeeping; including waste bin management and keeping warehouse facilities clean and tidy
    • Support customers (internal and external) with delivery information; such as tracking details, estimated time of delivery and proof of delivery.
    • Assist with elements of inventory control and participate in stocktaking.
    • Support the delivery of non-stock items
    • Arrange shelving, arrange and label stock; rotate stock according to established procedures.
    • Assist Team Leaders Warehouse and Technical Service Centre and Operations Manager as required.
  • Ensure collaborative relationships with Integra team members and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date, quality system compliant and in order.
  • Comply with all company quality standards, procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required

About you:

  • Proficient computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook) desired
  • Exceptional attention to detail: Ability to focus on tasks which require absolute accuracy, such as the recording of lot and serial numbers on inventory and the completing of picking slips, checklists and other documents.
  • Accountability: Accept personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work. Can be relied upon to achieve excellent results with little supervision.
  • Experience with working autonomously and within a very small team environment.
  • Proven ability to conduct oneself professionally: Integrity, honesty, ethical work practices.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
